Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

Please read the below with important information regarding continuing medical education credits. 

  1. CME Credits can ONLY be claimed if CME has been purchased as part of registration. CME can be purchased through Wednesday, July 21. After July 21, CME can no longer be purchased. 

  2. CME Credits can ONLY be claimed for attendance during the LIVE Virtual Congress sessions. CME Credits will NOT be available for attendance and/or viewing of the On-Demand sessions. Plenary, State-of-the-Art and Oral Communication LIVE sessions on Saturday, July 17 – Wednesday, July 21 are the only sessions available to claim credit.

  3. A CME EVALUATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY AUGUST 31, 2021 IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A CME CERTIFICATE – CME EVALUATION IS NOW CLOSED

How Do I Collect CME? 

  1. If you purchased CME as part of registration, you should have received an email from [email protected] on Saturday, July 17, with the link to the CME evaluation

  2. Complete the evaluation by August 31, 2021

  3. On September 1, 2021 ISTH will provide the our joint provider, Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), with all individuals that completed the evaluation

  4. MCW will contact you after September 1, 2021 with instructions on how to download the CME Certificate

 

How Do I Complete the CME Evaluation? 
Anyone who purchased CME as part of their registration should have received an email from [email protected] on Saturday, July 17, with the link the CME evaluation. If you have questions, please contact [email protected]

 

When Will I Receive My CME Certificate? 
Those who completed the CME Evaluation will be contacted by Medical College of Wisconsin after September 1, 2021 with instructions on how to download the CME Certificate

The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this activity for up to 14.50 hours of participation for continuing education for allied health professionals.
